The Processing Plant came into operation 10th March, 2010 with its main objective to operate as a pilot plant facility for the Nevis agro processors and the general public at large.
The Processing Plant has since seen the need for major food security through food preservation and has made that a major focus as well. To date the plant has undertaken major processing of the following products: Jams, Jellies, Local drinks, Fruit pulps, Chips, and Flour and Cassava Meal.
All products processed at the Processing Plant are done adhering to proper food safety and hygienic practices to ensure products of safe and premium quality for customers.
The center has a staff seven (7), a manager and six employees.
